wretch like him... “Now to Him” (Ephesians 3:20) is the battle cry, motto, theme, and goal of his life and ministry!

She has had the privilege of working with children of all ages for over fifty years. While her secretarial experience is less extensive, she is blessed, honored, and humbled to serve this precious family of God. In every role she undertakes, her purpose remains the same: to follow her Lord Jesus Christ in obedience. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve our Lord as the church secretary and children's ministry at SCBC. Colossians 3:23-24 "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Randy has worked as an optometrist in Brownwood since 1991, and he and his wife, Melinda, have served Salt Creek in the music ministry since 2002. He enjoys ranching, living in the country, and spending time with his three grandchildren.

Randy loves serving the people of SCBC musically in both times of celebration and in times of need. He enjoys encouraging gifted people to use their musical abilities to minister to their fellow members in worship. He prays that his leadership in morning worship helps prepare hearts to hear God’s word preached every week.

Melinda has been married to Randy since 1987. They have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with their grandchildren and also loves hiking, cycling, swimming, and watching sports.
She is so grateful to serve as the church pianist. Her hope is to honor Christ by creating and supporting an atmosphere of worship through music.
